This is an outhouse at my parents house. You may be asking why do they have an outhouse, I have no idea. And no, I don’t know if its functional. But it makes for a good photographic subject. This is one of the few HDR images I’ve attempted.
I took 3 bracketed exposures with my Canon 17-40L lens and used Photomatix Pro to process the files for HDR output.
I took this shot this morning at about 6:45. I noticed yesterday the way the moon was still shining bright and its position in the sky. I was driving by the water tower and knew I had to get out and get that shot. I was just glad the sky was clear this morning.
Camera settings: I was using my Canon 24-70mm L at ISO 100, f/2.8, and 1/60th of a second. I had to do some compositing in Photoshop because it was nearly impossible to get any details in the moon with one exposure. I also used the Topaz Adjust filter in Photoshop.

This was shot at Callaway Gardens on Memorial Day this year. Posing a two year old can be difficult. Sometimes you just have to catch her at the right place and time.
